Stevens EPS

Stevens EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) Insulation offers building owners and specifiers high long-term R-value for most new construction and reroofing applications. 

Stevens EPS Insulation is compatible with all Stevens EP™, Stevens Hypalon® and Stevens EV® roofing membranes. Materials are available in standard sizes and thickness and shipped from 11 convenient locations across the continental United States. Stevens EPS Roofing Insulation

Stevens EPS Insulation offers the highest long-term consistent in-service R-value per thickness for commercial roof insulation. The product’s high long-term insulation value and superior water resistance, combined with its light-weight and competitive cost, make this insulation an excellent choice for most roof applications.

Stevens EPS is available in three standard sizes: 

  • 2- x 4-ft. (.6- x 1.2 m)
  • 4- x 4-ft. (1.2- x 1.2-m)
  • 4- x 8-ft. (1.2- x 2.4-m)
Stevens Tapered EPS Insulation

Stevens Tapered EPS Insulation is custom designed and cut to meet the specific details of the installation. Each section is labeled to match CAD drawings for ease of installation and in order to effectively provide a slope-to-drain surface and eliminate ponding.

Stevens Tapered EPS Insulation is available in standard sizes:

  • 4- x 4-ft. (1.2- x 1.2-m)
  • 4- x 8-ft.  (1.2- x 2.4 m) 

In addition, Stevens Tapered EPS is available in single-layer thickness of up to 24-inches (61 cm), without limits to the slope-per-foot. Crickets can be provided for valleys and roof edges in custom cut packages.

Direct-to-Deck Application

Where permitted by building codes, Stevens EPS can be installed directly on steel decks without the added cost of a fire barrier. Some restrictions apply, contact the Stevens Technical Department for details, limitations and acceptable conditions. 

Quality Assurance

Stevens EPS meets nationally recognized standards for EPS insulation as recommended by the Society of Plastic Industry, ASTM, and mandatory requirements with ICC-ES.
